Turns out the bike was serviced by Sangers, who I take my bikes to for stuff beyond my capabilities. They knew the previous owner and gave me a printout of what has been done to the bike. It has a set of gear driven cams that replaced the chain driven stuff so that's pretty cool. They actually did a pretty extensive list of repairs and improvements to the bike back in 2010. I thought it sounded like it had a set of mild cams in it.

It was spewing gas so you hit the side of the gas tank with a screwdriver and it fixed it?

Sounds like I can easily work on motorcycles.

not the gas tank, the float bowl for the carb. Float needle was apparently not where it needed to be. I replaced the needle and cleaned the seat along with a new bowl gasket and set the float where it needed to be, so that shouldn't happen again.

The Larimer County clerk and recorder office in Loveland is way better than the Fort Collins crew. Really nice office, lot's of parking, lot wasn't even half full.
Turns out the bike needed a VIN verification since it has out of state title, even though it was previously registered in Colorado. So they asked if I could bring it in at 2:00 pm today, so i did, done deal. Fuckin fees are ridiculous in this state, nickel and dime us to death. VIN Ver. was free though. Bike is legal, title is mine, runs good, ready for the rain to stop. Fuck this rain.

I went to the Weld Co Ft Lupton office today on lunch break to avoid Greeley. First time going there. No wait, in and out in 10 minutes with plates and new title in my name. Literally didn't know what to do with the rest of my day.

That won’t happen… truck will be full and only doing a drive by for a short window Friday afternoon. Warfab is out there, but.. not sure if you’ll get help with that request from them.

They won’t facilitate a Saturday pickup to avoid freight which they continuously complain about having issues with? That’s a bummer.

They are terrible with communication, I know they're a smaller shop but damn.

Luckily I'm off tomorrow so I'll fly over and grab it. Just wanted to take me GF to dinner in Junction or something on Saturday.

    Guess what this is.

I'll give a hint. It's the result of a government conspiracy to fuck the American consumer.
