Old FJ, VW Thing, etc would be OK, but I disagree with the Bronco, or anything with true stamped door frames on it.

Heard what they said about the Avs and Nuggets - wondering if we can get them to do an appearance around the Broncos season? (Sorry, but the Rockies are hopeless, until Monfort sells.)

So Archer has had this thing on his eyelid for a few months now.
Countryside Vet, his regular vet and the one I have been seeing for a couple decades now wanted $2700.00 to remove it and talked about possibly removing teeth which are fine and need not be removed. That visit kind of soured me on having anything done. so we decided to just see if it would fall off on it's own. I felt they were trying to pay rent and make payroll off my dog.
It didn't fall off, but it never got any worse until Friday and it basically was causing irritation which made it look like hell, but it wasn't. CSU vet assured me it wasn't that big of a deal.

The Animal Eye Center, was there at 11am, had the exam and they took him back to do the treatment and he was done in exactly 7 minutes. Literally just got home (12:25pm) and we stopped at Good Times for a burger and a pawbender along the way.
    Total charge, $274.50.

    Awesome glad Archer is a-ok.

Mugsy goes in for dental surgery on Friday. Has to have at least one tooth removed. They're also going to remove these hemo-somethings off his... um, junk. Because he sunbaths with all his full glory getting nuked by the sun, and the UV causes these blood blister things all over his... um, shfontz. But they want to remove them just to make sure it's nothing serious.

I keep asking my daughter and GF, "so who's going to be the one to put sunscreen on his... um, shmeckle?"

Similar story for recently for me too... Our pitty Dixie went in cause she started limping a bit, similar to our plotthound Sydney who tore her CCL but she was still putting weight on it. After x-rays they said it's hard to say if the ligament is fully torn but surgery is needed. They were also very concerned with a mass on her chest that should be removed and looked at right away. So we opted for the mass removal, $1800 bucks.. turned out to be just fat.
Decided on a second opinion for her limp so went back to our old vet in Aurora. Though it's waaay out of the way they said she doesn't need surgery, she's getting up there in age and as all pitty's her hips are getting bad. She's technically a senior now so she's slowing down. Getting her some daily vitamins and senior food now, some days are better than others with how she feels. I shortened up the yard sadly cause she still gets the zoomies and wants to jump up on the deck. She has to use the stairs now ha

I feel vets are really nickel and diming lately. Same vet that did our other dogs surgery I had to get about $250 refunded for charges on medicine and stuff never performed. We'll continue with the vet in Aurora, our pups are much more comfortable there as well.

    Glad Archie is doing fine!

We’ve been loyal to one vet for 17 years now because of this reason. He’s always been good to us and our dogs. I only wish his practice was in aurora. We travel to Mead…
