It's a free gas station convenience that is now an extra fee in other states. Used to be free air at every gas station.
Won't be long before Colorado starts charging for the windshield cleaner squeegee.

Colorado law actually says gas stations have to provide air for free. Obviously, no one does. I've always wanted to demand it sometime but it's not worth the effort

Remember me when it is time to go to Blanca.
I think a cold shower at Zapata Falls would feel good after the run.

Going to swap on some 35s and proper gearing? :D :stirthepot:

My understanding is it's harder than Holy Cross, which isn't an easy trail in is own right.

I don't think it's as technically hard as Holy cross, but has a higher death factor.

Thanks - but I prefer the excitement behind the wheel of my own vehicle when death is on the line.

Not legal to charge for air in CO. You buy tokens and use tokens to get air at the "pay air pumps".

Whenever I ask, they usually claim the machine is broken. There’s one good gas station in Moab that has air on tap and it’s not one of those crappy pump on demand style. They must have a huge tank in the back because it airs up my tires from 20psi to 35 in several seconds.

alot of the ones in San Diego i used to go to would accept coins and it would turn on. Wasn't till I found out about free air being the law I went in and asked about it and they have a button behind the counter that turns the air on for a few mins and then shuts off again.

Made my own LavaBox for under $60! After watching their segments on shark tank and finding out they only cost $23 per box to make and they sell it for $200, I couldn't justify buying one anymore.

Well thank you! It was a fun little build. Thinking about a stand of some sort now too.
