Did you wire in an industrial AC unit for one of those switches so you can keep cool in AZ? :luvya:

    Jokes aside, it looks good!

    Thanks dude!
That would have been a wise idea, but no I joined all the dimmer wires on that panel to feed a single wire into an add a fuse on the acc power fuse in the panel. I ran out of patience lol

bahaha no way I turned that job down, told them I'd rejoin the company when I don't have to move to a state so hot where cactus cant even survive. Thanks!

Water rights is quite complicated in this state - remember we couldn't have rain barrels until a few years ago, because the rain was allocated to the farmers and us city folk weren't allowed to store any of it. The bigger cities around the front range largely rely on surface water, and have to discharge to the surface waters after use. No recycling/reuse allowed because that water belongs to the farmers.

Water resources is a whole industry. I work with people who are pretty much devoted full time to assessing how much water specific communities in Colorado have, and how much will they need/have in the future.

I also work with the people who design the pump stations/transmission lines for when there isn't enough surface water available.

And when even that isn't enough, I'll get to design the treatment systems that send recovered wastewater direct to the water treatment plants for reuse.... All we need is a big enough drought to make people realize it makes more sense than what we're doing now :stirthepot:

Anyone have recommendations for auto upholstery folks? Ones you have good experience with or know for sure they do good work?

The 4runner sports seats I have are gnarlier than I remember. I can source new foam but would also like new upholstery put on them. The current OEM upholstery is not worth trying to salvage.

Reposting from my main thread, which I’ll delete if I can.
    ——
On our way back from Idaho last night my 2016 died on the highway just outside of Rawlins, WY.

After a bit of research, I might have suffered CPS failure, but who knows. Without an obvious explanation or a spare CPS I’m resorting to dropping at a dealer.

Need some advice on options to get the truck towed from Rawlins to Denver. I have a uhaul and flatbed reserved in Fort Collins as a last resort (have to wait on a ride).

Seems like if you're fairly confident on the CPS failure, you may want to parts cannon it since it's an easy swap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRlxVXjkUjA

Have you tried posting a "HELP" thread in the Wyoming regional forum? There may be someone nearby that is willing help out with some tools/parts/etc.

Used AAA last night, they will not cover another tow to Denver. Talking with insurance but their coverage is similar to AAA, “tow to nearest shop, bring tire/fuel etc.”. Verifying with insurance that they won’t cover a tow to Denver.

So far this morning it is running… with a strong enough tail wind on 80 I might be able to coast to Laramie…

“I’ve pulled full size Suburbans up this… I’m afraid to ask how much your truck weighs”

You’re not overland until you weigh at least double GVWR. This person has succeeded.

Is there anyone in/around Denver that would let me park a 14ft long camper at their house august 23rd through 25th? I’ll pay a nightly fee. Just struggling to find any hotel in downtown that has parking that can accommodate. Pic of camper in question.
