I'm not recommending it, but this noisemaker is free to anyone who will collect it from me.

AirTags aren't a bad option, but be aware that privacy/anti-stalking features limit their effectiveness as a tracking device, and those limits are likely to tighten in the future. Once that alert pops up saying "an unrecognized device is following you", I don't think two tags is any better than a single well-hidden tag unless you want to individually tag items within the truck.

@SR-71A and @ME OFF Rd , you guys are welcome to hose it off in my driveway if you can't find a carwash along the way.

Thanks man. We may take you up on that if we can't find anything closer.

We need a hose to get in behind the fan shroud and flush the mud out. Don't want to risk damaging the radiator fins with a high pressure car wash sprayer

I think it's from years of trails back home in New England. He was having the higher temps on the drive out last weekend also

Sounds like it will need quite the soak to loosen that all up.

maybe stop by a fire station up there and see if they are bored and want to help out :)

Not a terrible idea :D We were wondering if anyone had a connection like that. Fire station, public works garage, anything with a high flow hose

The only problem I have with Air Tags (I have four of them) is that they have to warn people that there’s a tracking device in their vicinity.

I get it for the creepers who sneak an air tag onto their target but if I have one buried in my truck, the last thing I want is for the air tag to warn the perpetrators who then go on a destroy/seek mission trying to find it.

I met with Elevated Audio per your recommendation.

Seems like a very good operation.
