Thanks for the heads up! I saw their name on several trail adoption signs... now I'm reading up on some of the efforts.

Would be fun to try Williams someday, never seen that one open.

Just signed up, I enjoy it when trails on public lands are kept open, you know, for the public. SoCal is a nightmare in that department... and the Front Range seems to be headed in that direction too. Ugh.

 

Also, you made me curious to dig up pics from exactly 5 years ago. Colors weren't like this yesterday. Maybe I should go back this weekend.

 

If I recall right, CORE is going to try and open the Alpine Tunnel section next year. They submitted their plan to fix it this year.

 

I once lived in an old general store converted to a loft that had a bad and seemingly multi-generational mouse problem. The posted electric trap was the only thing that worked as these mice robbed every spring trap we set out. I still dream about hearing the capacitors charge back up like a camera flash in the middle of the night confirming another kill.

 

There is a bucket lid mouse trap that has a hinge to drop them in the bucket.... add water and they will drown. 8 can't get the link to work on Amazon

 

Man i heard the snap loud and clear.
I applied the peanutbutter under the trigger. No other traps have been touched and peanut butter remains intact. i think ill leave the traps set for awhile, just to be safe.

Anyone have recommendations for treating emerald ash borer? I know I'm going to have to give my tree some shots but curious about any good companies or stories you guys have.

 

I've always used Schulhoff Tree for my Elm's (basically the same treatment as the Ash). They seem pretty reasonably priced and show up when they say they will. My neighbors use them for Ash injections too and everything seems healthy. I think its like 350 or 400 a year for them to soil inject like 7 big elms.

 

Got to see most of the new Tacoma lineup while getting lunch today. They look pretty dang good in person, that champagne color is really nice. They all had "Manufacturer" plates and didn't seem to want to answer any questions. Guy in the Pro was plugged in with his laptop fiddling away.

 

I do like the looks of the gen 4, but I hate the trail hunter wheels. Maybe different in person, but from what I’ve seen, they could have done so much better

 

Can you run back and take measurements of the truck bed (length and width) as well as the height of the cam above bed rails? I’d love to know if my camper would move over to a 4th gen with iForce Max or whatever they call it.

 

I’m sure they change things just enough for nothing to transfer over.

 

That would be quite annoying… my dad is also considering getting a 4th gen prerunner if they release the hybrid in that trim in 2025. He’d be transferring his camper over as well (same as mine, but has a full back wall that replaces the tailgate).

 

Ha! I thought you already ordered one? It did look like there are exterior lights on the bed rails on the pro and hunter edition.
