Is it me or is the price a little high? Seems like a nice truck if the interior is okay. Tempted to go look at it.

SC and kings are nice but at 114k miles that's still pricey. I'd rather pick something with 50k miles closer to stock and upgrade myself

Same motor my Hilux Surf had. I wouldn't want it in an auto in Colorado. She struggled a bit up the passes

3" of snow forecast for Sunday. Might be slippery on Monday.
Curious to see if the storm builds or not as the forecast a few days ago didn't call for it.

is this @scootter82 ’s old truck?
Something is up with the rear bumper not being chromed… maybe it had a steel one and they just found whatever cheap replacement to put on that is painted black?

Also, @kmbldr - you can buy my 2015 TRD supercharged with only 92k miles for $32k…

It's deer season out there and the Bucks are crazy! My company car got smoked by a big buck today outside Telluride. You can see the chest in the front quarter, and there's holes in the windshield from the rack. 90% sure someone behind me poached him before I got out, was in a little shock and it took me a minute. Dog and I are both ok.

Not mine, it's still in the body shop but supposed to get it back this week or next finally! Mine only has 10k miles on it. It's getting sold to the dealership immediately. A few offered me $48k for it

Oh I didn't even check the link. Assumed you meant my Tundra.

That IS my old Taco Baja. He told me he was gonna sell it. I originally traded it in to a dealer for $24k. He paid $32k for it. It had 90k miles when I sold it.

    Hey boys and girls,

I've found a potential buyer for my stock axles. Have a silly question.
Aren't all 1st gen front pumpkins plug and play? This guy has concern about his manual hubs vs the auto hubs. I believe the difference would be in the axle shaft tube and not the pumpkins. I want to offload these axles but I know very little about the manual locking game.

He Should just reuse his original shaft tube and be good?

    Yes, the tubes are interchangeable.

There are also a few ways to use the ADD actuator with manual hubs--I've read of folks using a hose clamp to hold the actuator in the "locked" position, or wiring a manual switch to the electronic actuator (I think you have an electronic actuator; older trucks are vacuum-actuated).

Pumpkin are all be the same, swap tubes and he'll be fine. Bolts for tube are either torx or traditional metric head, but that really doesn't matter either.
