Love the MK1 GTI's. I miss my MK4 Jetta Wolfsburg. Currently have a MK6 Golf TDI. Suppose I better not get rid of it like the Jetta and Taco haha

 

and supercharger.

 

After over 3 decades of use, I am replacing my home stereo.
The new one is much cheaper than what I paid for the old one back in the day and has less features, like no tape deck, phonograph, 8-track, etc...
But it does have bluetooth.

 

I, like a true millennial hipster, just purchased a new turntable on Black Friday

 

The turntable on my old one gave up the ghost over a decade ago. I haven't had stacks of wax in the house in forever.
Just swapped it out, I swear that old Fisher was around 88 pounds and a nest of wiring.
New unit, much lighter, neater, has a remote so my old ass don't have to get up, and being able to blast from the laptop thru bluetooth is awesome.

 

I am still using the technics turntable I got when I went graduated from highschool. Wife asked why it wasn't hooked up a few years ago and I explained the Bose speakers and Sony stereo had died and using the Bluetooth speaker was easier and more compact. She surprised me with custom speakers from harms labs (another debacle I can explain later) in old Town and a new Sony stereo with phono input. She immediately noticed the increased quality of the music compared to mp3 and compressed audio. Little did she realize that all music purchased would now be on vinyl as I hate iTunes and now my external hard drive with lime wire and bear share downloads has died.

We still use the Bluetooth portable outside to stream from Spotify and nugs.net

 

So who is going to let me register my supercharged truck at their house in the mountains?

 

Yeah this news on the emissions is a bit annoying, guess its just another reason not move to the front range.

i cant dish it if i cant take it right. Speaking of jeeps.....my new drive requires me to take I225 and it is bouncy! Spoke with another person that takes it and they said the same thing. They drive a subaru though. Anyone else?

i'll admit, there was a slight moment when i thought, fuck this jeep is not made for freeway speeds.

 

Just drove through there from the DTC to 6th in the Golf. Always been bouncy, I think cause it's concrete instead of asphalt, the way they do it in sections makes it bouncy

 

Concrete roads are always bouncy. 287 from Loveland to Longmont is the worst.

mine passed emission test - possibly because the CARB Cert for the Magnuson SC - ??? no telling but who knows.

Now looking for a OEM Stock 04B04 to revert back to before emissions on NA vehicle.
