Does anyone in the Denver area have a set of these wheels? I want to go to 17’s, prefer oem wheels, and am pretty cheap/broke. Oh yeah, I also can’t post in the CO trading post yet.

If you're more broke than picky, a buddy of mine has a set of these sitting unused. They currently have the OE 4Runner tires on them (I don't remember exactly what they are), which could be a pro or a con depending on your situation....

Stock picture from internet, not of buddy's actual wheel.

Or an EV Kei truck. You don't want to go anywhere far or fast do you?

The benefit to converting a Kei truck is that I could load up the bed with a ~6” deep tray of batteries to get decent range. Also with the conversion, it would be able to go highway speeds since it wouldn’t be limited to the tiny 600cc motor, but without airbags and tiny wheels… would I want to drive a Kei vehicle at 70+ on these roads? Probably not.

Sienna hybrid is in the lead, but damn is it (relatively) expensive.

This one is also interesting, but I am placing my bets that it will be somewhere between $75-90k MSRP. https://www.winnebago.com/all-electric

As I was walking Broc this morning, the -7 degree temperature was wringing sparkly ice crystals out of the air and two short rainbow arcs balanced on alternate sides of the sun. I did not get a good picture but a guy from Castle Rock did:

    This IS survival weather.
You should prolly eat it, maybe live stream it.
Also, do you have a pic or link to this gourmet survival meal?

Speaking of, went to King Soopers yesterday for dental floss and body wash.

1pm. Thought that would be a quiet time.

It was like Armageddon. Procrastinated preppers stocking their bunkers. One dude had two full size carts filled with potatoes. Probably over 100lbs worth.

Took me 25 mins to self check out with two items.

If I ate that, the last place you’d want to be is in a backpacking tent with me.
