Yes ECGS clamshell bushing. I tore my rotator cuff and wrenching is very difficult lately

I just did this last weekend. I don't have the ECGS tools but I was able to rig up the puller I do have to work and was able to seemingly set the new bushing in place. I also did both outer seals.

All of this was because the RH side was leaking, which had nothing remotely to do with the driver's side. But the only issue I ran into was not having anything appropriately sized to set the LH seal.

So, guess I'm saying is happy to offer stupid suggestions and drink beer.

To answer your question, if it's just replacing the bushing I feel $460 is kinda high but not ridiculous. It's a fair amount of effort just to get to the bushing, which is a pretty simple task itself.

LOL. I had a solution for the right side and like an idiot I didn't bother to verify that they were the same size. I know better, too.

Don't let RayRay know you used PVC as a tool, it's for mock ups only in his book.

I live in Eagle and have the bearing removal tool I can get rid of for $30 or good offer. I always do my own work, but didn't have time, and used a good friend of mine I can set you up with. He has very reasonable prices and is extremely knowledgeable if you are interested. His shop is right by the airport.
