Coming to TacomaWorld and asking folks if they think you should switch to Tacoma is like going to a Vegan support group and asking if they think you should switch LMAO

I don't know much about the Chevy Colorado, but I can tell you this is my first Tacoma out of a long list of other trucks and this one is BY FAR my favorite truck. It's a great truck, its fun to drive and tinker with. Ive had no issues and I've got over 26k miles and I bought it 1 year ago.

    • Lots of support from Tacoma World for questions and aftermarket modifications
    • LOTS of aftermarket modifications and custom parts made for the Tacoma
    • Very easy to upgrade and work on. In fact, by far the easiest truck to work on that I've ever owned.
    • I highly doubt you would be disappointed with the purchase of a Tacoma.

    In progress...
I have a 2016, got the first one on the release date. The only repairs I needed were caused by me (cracked windshield, thorn out mudflap, buffing) driving in extreme conditions. I'm 60K miles in and it seems that the truck has earned my trust now. If reliability is the main factor, you can't go wrong. The rest is a matter of personnal preferences.
