So Tomahawk is like the six flags for fly fishermen who are dragging their net in the water?

The trout hammer those things. I was skeptical at first since it's just a dumb little piece of plastic that looks like nothing...haha.

Yep, and Only place I am willing to share in that area (well Dream Stream is ahh, very crowded to). If you don't mind smaller trout, there is an SWA up by Montgomery Reservoir with some nice Braids/ beaver ponds to fish.

The "forked" tail is a dead giveaway. Brookies are chars, and have a straight edge on the tail fin. True trout, like browns, have a forked tail fin.

Why are you saying sorry? A Brook "trout" is not a true trout. You're saying the same thing I am, basically.

Got skunked by boiling bass tonight.. they didnt like the jerkbaits, spinners, frogs (there were lillypads and cattails), or senkos. Frustrating but it seems i need to get a popper as my old one was thrashed or some flukes to try next time.

What do you guys used for boiling bass on pressured lakes?

Edit: went back during the heat of the day today with the thought that the heat will keep them in the cover and my texas senko would be more effective.. no bueno. Due to the high pressure fishing, these bass are smarter than most americans. Looks like ill be buying some dragonfly dry flies and try to match the hatch.

I could never work at a fly shop, I'd never make a paycheck. I'd owe them money.

I have a Winston. Goes well with my Ross reel.

I use to fish exclusively with a cheaper Redington and make fun of those guys and their over-priced gear.

Where did I loose my way?

I impulsively bought a Ross reel a couple years ago. My goal was to own a Colorado made outfit. But I still haven't been able to bring myself to spend that much on the Scott I want.

Sage owns Reddington, it was their "cheap" brand. I also have a couple of 2nd hand Winston's, thank god for ebay estate sales.
