hey guys,

I just moved to colorado springs and on the drive here, i blew a head gasket... Any one know of any trustworthy shops with decent prices in the springs?

 

Most of the Springs guys don't use the forums a lot. They are quite fond of their "exclusive access" Facebook groups.

@YamaDirtrider might be able to give you the name of a few of the groups to look up on Facebook.

That or I see @JoeCOVA around from time to time

 

You might try Best West Tire and Service on N. Academy, a few co-workers have been taking their vehicles there for years and swear by them. I think they also have a shop on the South end somewhere..

 

Larry Miller Toyota gave me a solid deal so just dropped it off with them.

Fortunately, I dont have facebook (not sorry zuckerberg) but do you guys have any meetups, rides, or events scheduled? I am looking to wheel and climb 14ers on the weekends!

 

Why move west from Tennessee? I'm in the springs, if you see a built black 80 series waving, its probably me.

 

Mountains and less humidity! I accepted a new role that was remote and allowed me to move wherever and I really want to climb peaks. I climbed Mt. Whitney in 2016 and got hooked.

 

Unfortunately I don't. I do all of my own out of warranty work.

 

Just dont follow @NateMob 's lines because his solid axle 80 is much more capable. You gotta take the IFS line

 

Anyone up for hitting some trails tomorrow? Thinking of running Red Cone or something like that.
