Hey everyone, new member and just brought home my new taco yesterday. One of the first things I want to do is get the fronts and top of windshield tinted. Currently have an appointment for next Friday with the dealer but seems like I can get it cheaper by avoiding the dealer.

Anyone have recommendations for a good tint shop/type of tint to get? I'm in North springs and am looking at Drive-In Autosound with Mesa tints right now but want to see if there are better options.

Welcome! Nice rig! Check out this group, Colorado Springs Tacomas We’ve got a post about tint companies in town! Cheaper than the stealership and they contract it out to a local shop then charge double/triple.

RM did my fronts, it was 85 2 years ago. Drive-In Autosound in Motor City did my jeep years ago, it took 3 trips back to them to get all the air pockets out and that was after I disputed the charges on my CC. Anyway RM Window Tint did a great job.

Autosound and Tint off of Academy did my fronts and the strip on my windshield last year. Super high quality work, and they back it up. Did 15% on the drive and passenger side window. Pretty sure it was under 100

RM did 3 of my vehicles when i lived in Woodland Park, all 3 turned out great and matched the factory tint REALLY well. I also paid $85 for the two fronts on my 4runner and Tacoma and $100 for the 2 fronts on my F350 (but they did remove some old tint from that one too) but that was a couple years ago.

I used these guys. They were a little more expensive but it's a lifetime guarantee, and I got the highest level of ceramic tint they offered.
