Looking to get rid of my cargo glide 1500. This came out of a short bed Ford, this should work in any full size truck and with minor modifications would fit a long bed Tacoma. Usually both he has a ton of Toyota parts, it’s worth the trip to check. I had him do the gears in my truck when they discovered my leafs were broken, said he could build a custom leaf pack cheaper than new Dakars. But I went with OME’s in the end.

gotcha. i have a 3rd gen now but in process of selling and have a 2015 lined up to buy. might be a month or so before i have the new truck.. definitely want to get a lift on there asap. I would definitely appreciate some install help.. would i still need to buy a u bolt flip kit to make this install happen? And if I went with a whole new leaf setup would that give me more lift in rear? I know these OME lift kits aren't adjustable and I'm looking for a good amount of rake with a big ole' leer 122 topper and roofbox full of camping shit.

 

Going to have to keep this place in mind if I break something around that area.

Hopefully that doesn’t happen, but yep good resource. And if it did feel free to reach out, I don’t have a garage but I do have tools and a place to work on trucks.

 

Yeah, a whole new leaf pack would give you the lift you want in the rear, and in that case you would have to do new U bolts. Doesn't have to be with a flip kit but personal preference at that point. I could totally help you out with the install too. Let me know though cause I have a few others already asking. Local would be killer though.

 

definitely super into it.. would be a killer deal to get a lift on the 2015.. just gonna be a couple weeks before i'm able to pull trigger. feel free to sell to someone else you don't have to wait for me
