Calling all mountain bikers. I have a 2016 Giant Trance that got ridden for the 2016 season and then part of the 2017 season. Since then, my hips have been in too bad of shape to do anything other than ride it around town. I believe it is a medium frame (I’ll double check in a bit) has 27.5s, Fox shocks, aluminum raceface pedals, and my personal favorite thing I’ve ever had on a mtb, a dropper seat post.

The crank and brake pads were replaced after the 2016 season so they pretty much only have a year of riding on them.

The only issue is that it has no front brake pressure, my guess is that a brake flush will do the trick. Asking $1200 OBO3D4877B0-4F48-447D-A620-02C0FE1C0A4D.jpgB384C27F-19EE-4A17-8688-60B62AFB60AA.jpg32B4234E-906B-4CB1-980E-7298ED7E729F.jpgA17A9896-4B87-4EDD-9D50-907740E2B55B.jpg1199A239-98DB-4312-AFE1-1A72289408DC.jpg

I’ll see what I can do... I was thinking similar price for my Ripley, but it is much lighter and fancier with the carbon wheels, has fresh service in the suspension, etc.

Price is OBO, since I haven’t been able to ride for a while i wasn’t sure what bikes go for these days. But to be honest I’d be surprised if the price was significantly off from the market

I wouldn’t... you can go too far in way too fast... much easier by hand... start with a 300 grit go to 420 then 1,000, and finish with 1500.... go up and down and then left and right, never in circles, then finish with a good wax

Check bike blue book to see the current nether value of your bike. Works just like Kelly blue book. That's how I priced my bike when I sold it.

Well I hadn’t really gotten that far in my thinking. I bought it about 3 years ago and used it once and it’s been taking up space since then.

    What’s fair?

Looking for leaf springs to bastard a pack on my halftaco trailer. I'll be adding a RTT and the AAL is still a little on the light side.
