I just got my Superlite RTT and you make me want to part out everything and buy it but I can't justify that just yet. You should be able to sell this quick, good luck!

not sure but the bed stiffeners may conflict with the GFC install - I'd wait on them or see if any GFC owners can verify.

Thank you, I verified they will work and are recommended, actually that’s the main reason I want them. Plus don’t want to wait on crazy lead times right now

Eh, less of a concrete issue, more of a soil issue

In this particular scenario, it is actually dirt, not soil.

All dirt is soil, depending on horizon.

or is it like thumbs vs fingers? All dirt is soil, but not all soil is dirt

If you go out in your back yard with a bucket and a shovel and you dig a hole and fill the bucket up with the material that comes out of the hole, that is dirt. If you pay me to test it, it turns into soil.

aaaaah I get to choose then. If I want to pour the grey stuff on dirt, I won't call my tester, but if I want it on soil, I will

Horizon looks flat, so I have decided the earth is flat and filled with soiled dirt.

Well concrete is different that dirt/soil. The dirt/soil then turns into subgrade and you would need to get it tested.

any contractor or concrete provider worth their weight in the lies they tell you would say "looks good to me!" Only took me a few hundred thousand square yards of concrete inspection to know a bad subgrade and poor slump can make a shit show in a hurry. I side with @johntoyota on this one. Good enough is not good enough.

Another vote for testing the subgrade. As a former tester and inspector, I can vouch that poor subgrade is a major contributor to cracking, swelling, etc. If the contractor knows it will get tested, the soil prep will be much better. Testing the concrete also helps keep them honest. Every concrete crew wants to add more water to help the workability of the mud. Testing adds upfront cost to the job, but also helps insure quality. Good luck with everything!
