    X2 to both those points.

Also, that report made for one entire page of epicness. Easily the best loop I've ever done. Can't wait to head back and do it again.

Don't you have a truck to build so you can generate some trip reports? :D

Damn, jealous of all those wheeling spots! Grew up in Colorado Springs hung out with some Jeep guys here and there. Moved to Georgia and have been itching to get back! Hopefully after I'm out of college I'll move back

Someone from a local Jeep club told James and I that it's been there for several years, was stolen, and presumed pushed off. I have my doubts that someone could have survived that, seeing the extend of the damage. There was pretty good debris pile leading up to the wreck when I walked down there. Did some research after and confirmed that story, which also said the case never went anywhere.

    found it:

Did you catch this picture of me 'walking' down there?

Given the giant boulders, the distance it is from the road, and the gnarly road above it to begin with, I'd say that it is only removable via helicopter, or chopping it to pieces.

Very rarely do you see wrecked vehicles like this anymore as usually forest service along with a club will remove, as squeaky penguin says its in a very bad spot. I remember a paticularly bad recovery in Devils Punch Bowl that they had a hell of a time getting out, and I have heard of FS threatening helio bills for recovery but that's if you can track owner.
Anyway great trip report, plan on hitting some of that this summer.
