fair enough, I thought it was, but I remember someone correcting me last time (not sure if it was here or not) to say that first wrap was the first one off...

but ok, then he'd need to undo his entire winch lead to pull his truck... considering 2nd gens Curb weight is 3,550–3,950 lb STOCK depending on the configuration... doubt that winch would last through the first pull of recovery duty.

Butler wash and snowflat road at comb ridge on the way to hole in the rock. I had to head for the barn early do to a family issue, so I didn't get to HITR.

Yes I did that line too..despite the people in the big rigs shaking their heads. Better know what your doing here or both sides of truck will be ruined.

Here's an old video too of same line. Think this was my 3rd time out 4wheeling. So I was very timid and green.

Anytime let's do it, soon even...it's 3.5 hours to Moab from there so maybe somehow tie it in. You can camp there too, maybe this weekend? Just have to et a permit. Mt buddies are camping there this weekend, right where that group photo was shot. Animas came up from 100 CFS to so the melt is just getting started. No love on the yellow circus peanut or purple meat whistle. Caught one colored up bow on a caddis pupa behind a tan leech. Then wind hit and I bailed to work...

Nice, probably won't be able to make it down there for quite a while (truck isn't even in one piece currently), but a combo fishing wheeling trip sounds great.

Did some cruising in North Park today. Ended up in Owl Mountain State Park. I didn't go real far being that I was alone. On the way out I took County rd 21 and saw a coyote then a young moose. Unfortunately the yote was too far away and once I realized the moose wasn't a cow I locked up the brakes and she quickly scooted into the willow. No pictures of either :(.

Took some of the truck though and scenery.

It's state trust land. Not a state park.

Ok it's a cool area. It's on the west side of 125. It's off county road 50 and opens up to a lot of cool trails in the summer. I have a condo in Fraser and am up that way a lot. We could wheel up there this summer

Well, none of the forest roads were open along 125 until after Rand. The road to MacFarlane Reservoir is probably passable. I just didn't want to try it solo with nothing around to winch to if I get stuck. Definitely hit me up when you're in the area.
