Someone has pictures of me high centered on Chinamens. That trail beat the shit out of me and my truck.

That's a strange way of doing an impromptu suspension inspection.

Curious because pictures help me learn too..And I haven't been to that area either.

    What led up to this?
1)Were you offline a little taking a harder one? It looks like your pass rear is about to come down some which I would think would make that tire come down some.
    2) Is there a pic from the other side when your are in that spot? 3)What exactly did you stop there for?
4)Was it getting too tippy or did you not have traction to get up? 5)Did you fall over onto the slider or ride up and grind?
    6) Did you drive through it after strapping up?
Good stuff looks like everything worked well.

Nice it does..but it looks like the back driver is about to climb which would force the tire in the air down. I assume that's what happened if the winch pulled him up. I was curious if it was a hole there? So it was tippy ness not lack of traction it looks like. And bad ass!

Before the winch was hooked up james was leaning on his slider. Which kept him from going over any more. Ya the rear tire was about to, but it was a 3.5 to 4 foot straight vertical climb.

I have a feeling driving forward would have only resulted in pivoting on the slider. :notsure:

    I think you're right.
Passenger rear driving foreword against the "fixed" point of his slider spins him counter clockwise and sends him over on his lid.

Took a run up Yankee Hill with my dad for the first wheeling trip of 2016!

Took the trail from West to East (Alice --> Central City). Snowy for about 65% of the trail. The bit up to the very top of Yankee Hill was too much for the old man's stock 4Runner, but barely a speed bump for the mighty Tariq! :burnrubber:

Took us about 4 hours total. Highly recommend going EARLY in the morning for weekends. We left Denver at 6:00am and didn't run into any other wheelers for almost 3 hours into our adventure!

Apart from the snow, Yankee Hill is still its usual bumpy self, and still plenty of fun!

Decided to take a short weekend trip to Moab, kinda a spur of the moment. We just ran Poison Spider and Hell's Revenge. Only sketchy part was coming down the hill right after the hot tubs. Dad was running some Bizzack snow tires. We swapped out his front with two of mine after I made it down. Pics in no particular order

    1. Harder, dumber line.
    2. See others pics, I did not get any of myself, but have a bunch of coming down this spot.
    3. Stopped due to sketchiness.
    4. Super tippy, worried about going over. I stopped going forward and tried backing up a bit which only made it worse. I had a pretty good line going, but the driver rear slid into the hole that you can see below instead of climbing, and going forward only pivoted me more on the slider and the driver rear going passenger along the ledge.
    5. See #4
    6. No, Eric pulled me through it for safety sake.

I wasn't super worried about tipping once I stopped and had the line attached, but driving out of it wasn't a great option.

I figure aerial video of someone trying to keep the trail dust down is taking it to a whole new level :D

Not gonna lie, kinda proud of myself for that one

Forgot to post a link to the rest of my pictures for any that want to see them.
