Yeah my lines are a little misleading there, because the purple should curve along where the town line is almost to the end of the yellow, then do a switchback left toward the blue dot, and then another switchback right to the end of the junction arrow. Unfortunately TW downsized it enough that you can't see the white used for trails and roads on the regular map very well, but at least my font size is still legible. :D

I dont really want to follow those beautiful pictures with mine.. but here they go.

Rollins Pass East. Planned on doing West Magnolia since it looks like it has a lot of old mines. But it has a seasonal closure, so Rollins Pass it was. Planned on taking more pictures, but it was cold.. and windy as all hell. I drove up as far as I could. Then hiked up to the path, hiked up and over to the west parking lot and to one of the trestles. Temps were in the mid 20s max, and winds were 20mph constant... a few gusts probably closer to 50. When I got back, the passenger side doors were frozen shut, drivers was close but I was able to chip the ice away. Sure I added some scratches to the truck with my hiking pole doing that... but I needed in the truck!

    Before I left...

Wanted to get more pictures, but by this time, I didnt want to kneel because my jeans were frozen. And I had a long walk back to the truck!

Before boulder started acting like.... Boulder.

I would be a bit weary of driving across the trestles that's for sure. I walked across the small one last time i was up there, zero chance i was Going to do that again today.

Thanks. I was not as cold as i should've been until i started getting close to the truck. But i was hiking for probably an hour at that point. Hands got cold when i took off gloves for pictures, nose was pretty cold since i forgot a cover for my face. i didn't want to get back out after that since my jeans were nice and wet.

Cool video! Interesting seeing that trail looking so different with the snow.
Man that wind looked like it was really blowing up top too.

Yeah, it was a consistent wind and then would blast some freezing air every so often. Any exposed skin wasn't thrilled about it.

    Leavenworth Creek - Guanella Pass

Not as cool as some of the previous posts, but I figured I should throw up some photos from last weekend. They're all iPhone photos, but I'm saving up for a decent DSLR so that I can take better photos in the future :)

The weather was absolutely perfect, and I was super stoked to take Clear Creek Canyon to get to I-70. That was a really fun little route, and it was incredibly beautiful.

This was my first run with my rig basically in the state that I've been shooting for mechanically. I still need to wrap some things up, and then start focusing on expo gear, tools, spares, recovery gear, and commo.

It was also my first trip with the RTT, and I couldn't be happier. The truck handled just fine, and the tent did great. I stayed perfectly warm with overnight temps just above freezing, and I was super comfortable.

    Anyway, here are some pics!

    RTT is finally mounted!

HI new to the forums, just got a new 17 trdOR looking for trails to test out. Been to georgetown but didn't make it up all the way. Is there sites that show where the 4 wheeling trails are in CO?
