There was a Jeep with them up there that was ok, wound have been better aired down. The video of the Jeep was on duracraps iirc again not aired down.

Even my worn down off brand tires aired down did good where the non aired down had issues.

Wasn't in CO, but since there's only been two other posts since Thanksgiving, you'll take it. And you'll like it.

    WHAT: Beer and backcountry
WHERE: Top of the World & Dome Plateau, UT
    WHEN: This last weekend
WHY: Because these trucks are expensive, so we're gonna get a good ROI
HOW: Skinny pedal, sliders, and skids

The climb up TOTW is pretty innocuous, with some decent scenery in the background

    Relief

Things get more interesting on the last leg of the trip; it got real snowy on the last mile or so, and got good and challenging. Plenty of rocks to climb, too.

If and when you get there, it's required that you hang out over the edge. Otherwise, you're a dandy.

    Utah's kinda cool. I guess.

Dome Plat's also worth your time, although the whole loop will take you a full day.

Conditions: muddy, wet, and snowy AF in different places. Plenty of chances to test your mettle on both trails. Go get some.

Nice work! I just saw some guy in another 4x4 forum posted your TOTW video, and I thought the rigs looked familiar. Good vid, BTW @TACO ROCKO

Right. The Grand Cherokee in the video had KM2 mud terrains, and the stuck wrangler had duracraps. The Lexus and other trucks with it also had duracraps iirc.

Treds alone would have worked fine, but every time Josh got stopped I'd start to dig in and would have had to reset the treds. Kolton was able to just stop driving and winch till we got moving again, saving a bunch of time.

    Too much to list....
    Hello all!

I have a training in Grand Junction May 14-16 I am planing on leaving the training Wednesday the 16 and driving out finding some place to camp near the Kokopelli trail head. From there I am essentially going to copy the fist part of Dr. Frankenstein and Mikes M-U-D trip... Koko to LockHart Basin to elephant hill.. Hop on the BDR to Valley of the gods. and from there i figure ill just explore... could continue to copy them Or could find some cool stuff solo... Leave it in the air.

As of right now i am planing a solo trip. thinking ill apply for my permit for elephant hill for the 18th oir 19th... still trying to figure it all out. If any one wants to join me please feel free..

So we started out a group of 6 running metberry. We had all the 2nd gens represented, and a 1st gen.

Here is @P51DeP coming down the rock face on metberry. Notice the dodge? Yea he was to scared to attempt the obstacle after all our peer pressure and the reassurance we had enough winches to get him back up.
On hacket gulch, this was just before coming across a broken motorcycle that we loaded up into @Winkle99 bed and got him to safty. oh and let’s not forget the entertainment. Every time we’d stop and let the dogs out they wound just play and play... tires bot of them out very well.

    Happy?
