My photo dump from MSV and Coney Flats today. I have some video on the GoPro that I'll scour through over the next few days.

That rock made its mark on at least 3 drive shafts, and at least as many differentials and leaf packs. Coop and steve had the best lines but that one sucked.

I don’t really recall many bypasses today...it hard was the hard way all the way.

I went Right with zero issues :D

Looking back on it, I think more spotting and less picture taking/ gawking might of been a huge help.

52 years later and most of the campground is still as it was the first time. Five days of hard to beat views with virtually no other campers.

Dinner Station at Taylor Park. Three other campers including the host. Cottonwood pass still closed - now through next year - due to open in 2020! The detour seems to have significantly reduced the camping pressure, along with school being back in session. Unfortunately the water was low and warm so stream fishing was not so good.

lol, I have stayed there. Beyond pissed that Corttonwood pass will be closed yet another year.

Barley learned to not mess with baby cows when Momma is around just outside the gate there.

Mosquito pass is wide open and little to no traffic.

Took it one way from ~Alma to Leadville and stopped in periodic brewing for some beers.

Super easy trail, nothing a stock truck couldn’t handle. Road was exceptionally rocky but there are places to air down.

If you need to air up and don’t have a compressor. Swing by the gas station on 3rd Street in Leadville for free air.

Great views and tons of mines to explore.
