I wasn't worried about that... but was worried that the stupid ass pass is really jinxed for me, and all those flashing lights didn't look inexpensive to remedy. I've only been stuck up there three times since, all just required shovel or maxtrax to leave without incident. :burnrubber:

What lights besides the 4wd lights were flashing? For some reason ToYoTa like to make every light turn on in the event of an unrelated failure.

It's probably because some people ignore the light if there's only one :p

I think just those two flashing. The others were on and the blind spot/rcta and a start stop something or other said they had malfunctions on the little info screen.

I didn't disconnect or reconnect anything, just looked under the truck and it went away after i put it in 4lo and 2wd.

Had a 64 Jeep cj6, 67 Scout 800 and a 72 Scout II, neither one ever flashed any lights. No matter how badly they were abused.
Come to think of it, the 96 Taco never had any flashing lights either....:burp:

Trip to moab over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Finally just uploaded all of the pictures I narrowed it down to (started with 400+). All taken with the trusty LG G5. I still havent had a chance to pull the other camera out of the truck and upload those pics, but i think there were only a few shots.

Seems like a common thing... at least sounds like a familiar part to carry as a spare for the XJ.

And probably will sooner than later. :)
