    What haven’t I changed?
When I was up there a couple years ago the gate blocking the road to Champion mill was laying flat on the ground across the road because the post it was attached to had toppled over. Since we weren't sure whether that meant the road was closed or not, my buddy and I decided to play it safe and parked in the small lot just before the gate and hiked up to the mill.

    2017-07-16 10.47.36.jpg

While we were up there looking around, two vehicles came rolling up that road to the top. I guess my only regret that day was not blocking the road with our vehicles.

Looks like he got a 7 day temporary ban. Doesn't seem too unreasonable when bad actions like going off trail and around locked gates impact the whole community by making us look bad and can result in trail closures in the future :burp:

Didn't seem like he got the whole story out. Kinda sad to ban someone before they even have a chance to defend themselves.

    Power tripping?

Where was the proof that he went around a closed gate. Someone mentioned seeing the gate laying on the ground at some point. Wouldn't be too surprised if someone removed it all together.

That's not clear to me. Maybe it was in the facebook video? I can't view it.

According to him it was open.

Maybe if he wasn't banned prematurely...

He stated that he drove around a massive pile of trees b/c others had done so... don't leave the trail. I didn't report him and was surprised he got banned so fast, but he did leave the trail... don't leave the trail. It's that simple.

I work with him. Nobody contacted him. He just got banned.

Pretty shitty behaviour. I'd like to know who the faceless mod is and why he thinks this is how to run a community.

Slaughter house, my poor mans almost long travel rear suspension at work. Copied littles on the b110’s, way better than the pos fox 2.0’s I was running last summer.3127556D-59A2-4E2A-9EF4-31964F521D6E.jpg

Doesn't excuse an instant ban. If you give a shit about the community then you don't operate that way. That's just flagrant mod abuse/ePeen flexing.

    Way late in posting.
Denver -> Last Dollar Road -> Telluride -> Ouray via Ophir Pass -> Million Dollar Highway -> Durango -> Denver on 6/30 - 7/3
I keep the off roading minimal when running solo so far away with just the kids. I did Ophir pass the 3rd day it was officially open. Traffic wasn't that bad on it. Helped a guy who had no business up on Ophir get around the switchback as he was in a rental Infiniti SUV. He did not feel comfortable making a 5 or 7 point turn around it so I did it for him and he and his family were on their way.

My first campsite supposedly there was a trio of Taco's there the previous night making a cross country trip from Oklahoma from talking with other peeps up there.
Then my Ouray nights I went to the end of the campground site just outside of south Ouray and had two large trees over and in the trail. Gave it everything I had to move them just enough to serpentine between them to get by and to the top of the trail. Made camp and then a few hours later another truck came up to the end. Chatted with them and the 3 of us went down to move those trees all the way off to the side.

Then hung out at the brewery for a few hours as the rain came down at a good click while walking town.
