Was finally able to find peace and quiet this past week.

Just me and the boy on this trip.

The more I drive the double cab off road the more I hate the Broheim-wannabe douche previous owner. He put a spacer lift up front on a stock suspension and nothing in the rear. The ride quality of this set up is atrocious. Literally icing my back in bed as we speak.

I still have to get around to installing the new suspension. Currently the front components are sitting in my bedroom. Just have to figure out the rear leaf spring set up.

Oh, and get my garage to be completed then offer free beer, food and hugs to anyone who wants to come help install it.IMG_0322.jpg IMG_0319.jpg IMG_0266.jpg

I’ll give you a hand. I may not own a Tacoma by then though.

I had the first gen for 6.5 years and upgraded to get more airbags and not have to box the frame on the 1st gen. It seems that I don't really use the truck anymore, so someone else should enjoy it (hint hint).

Like I said, I have underwear that lasts longer.

I'm still pissed I bought my 04 before you sold your 1st gen. But as sick as a 2.5 Gen is, I'm sticking with the 1st gen DC.

After this past trip, I'm so done with the auto. While I like the fact I can be lazy and not have to shift, I can't stand the auto in the mountains. Or offroad.

We had just about finished our run of Wheeler, when the last Toyota down made things interesting

    3 tons of fun
The brakes where great this time around. Did the 4 runner upgrade with tundra booster this past year and had a few spare wheel cylinders on hand in case history repeated.

Thinking back on that trip from 2 years ago when my rear brake cylinder failed above the steps, I don't know where / how I got the balls to drive my truck down the hill. Even driving down again this year with the fully working upgraded brakes I just kept thinking how lucky I am that made it down on ebrake alone. I would not have done it without the crawlbox, and looking back I still think I am an idiot for doing it and risking it. 0/10 would not do again.
