Funny I saw one truck coming up RD 51 while I was headed down to Metberry. Never once saw all of you and ran into 3 - 3rd gen 4runners at the entrance to Hackett. I asked if they had seen a bunch of trucks and they had not.

So what did you guys run today?

    Holy all day event!
Seems like it always ends up that way when we go down south though....
Left the house at 7, got home at 8.
We took CR3 north on the way home (Cole and I and the 4runner from ttora) and were rewarded with seeing gobs of deer and elk.
    Fun day for sure

Weird. What time did you get to the Hackett trail head? We got there about 10:30 and our other buddy in the green taco was probably there around 9:45 sitting at the trail entrance.

We got down Hackett to Hackett rock but then another group of about 10-12 jeeps came up behind us so we decided to let them pass and turn our group back around but they were kind of a pain and wouldn't move. That wasted a good chunk of time so we decided to skip long water and do metberry. We came out of Hackett at like 12:45. It was an absolutely perfect day so we hung out at the creek for a while. Holy cow it got muddy on the way back out.

I had a good day and I hope everyone else did too and had fun! Thanks again everyone for coming.

That was a fun trip! Thanks for letting me tag along. Saying I am tired is an understatement.

I went the whole day and only took one picture, and it was of Laurens truck. Go figure.

We were just ahead of those jeeps.

Uploading the video of my near miss of having to order a steel bumper on Hackett rock. As tired as I am, it's time for my hockey game so I'll get it posted late. Redline's face was friggin hilarious.

    Woot! Lol glad you came.

And you made it up those hills no problem even though you thought you wouldn't. :D

I'll post my pics up pretty soon too. I'm wiped and too lazy right now.

I had a BLASTY BLAST poppin the cherry on the Tacoma. I was a little nervous at first but I was very very very impressed at how well it did considering it's bone stock. I hope we get some more trips out this spring and summer! It was nice to meet you all too. Fun bunch.

I know, over reaction of the day goes to me. I didn't get any wheel spin on the steep rock and I actually shifted midway up the dirt hill. I need to have faith in my fellow TW members, and the truck!

Just be careful with that. We almost killed ourselves by flying down a hill backwards off a cliff into a river in Moab when our brake master cylinder decided to fail without warning when shifting gears on a hill.

The woman at the drive through said it looked like I had fun.

BTW, Lauren did you actually go to the car wash before you got back to the springs?

She had some dirt on the door when I saw her truck at Rudy's on the return trip. So it couldn't have been too thorough of a wash :)
