Alright Suzy, I don't need your lip! And if that day had been any longer, I would have fallen asleep at the wheel on the way home.
Maybe we do need to strongarm the FS up here because I don't want to have to drive that far every time I want to wheel (which just so happens to be always).

I do think Wishbone and Squeaky were clever to sneak off and do it themselves the way they did. When we did it last fall, there were a few too many I think and we did end up driving home in the dark.... and the snow...

Of course I just sacked up and did it and I realize that may be easier to do for some of us than it is for others :D

We're working on the FS here but by all means give them a call, they absolutely need to hear more. The more they are bugged, the more likely they are to start doing something. They tend to forget stuff when the phone stops ringing.;)
There was a meeting a week ago with the FS and things might start to get moving again, I'll know more after this months club meeting. We are dealing with the gummit so don't expect things to move along like the civilian world

For now the FS has agreed that the damage is minimal on 7-mile and they are wanting to see more before pics, to gauge exactly how much if any work is needed. If you have any, please, send them my way.

Since you are one of the few people whose numbers I have on here, you will be the one I call for a secret trail run. Oh and Joey, but he was assimilated into the WYO-only group. That and his accidentally-welded diff probably put a damper on things.
Sneaky broad does that, doesn't she?
Yeah, we are looking at you! Don't invite anyone and do one of the coolest trails that arent covered with snow at the moment? You should be ashamed!

You said the exact same thing in the upcoming events thread when I brought it up!

Agreed on the large group. We took just about as much time this go around, but we screwed around on a few things, had to tinker on James' rig, and there was quite a bit of traffic on the trail.

Oh, so now you want to join? :D

Dammit! I forgot all about that! Was I bitching because of the long drive or saying that I would stay with my mom?Anyway, I am just a whiner this time of year. I can't do anything fun because of work, no trails open up here yet and the kids keep me from driving too far when I do get time. I do hope I am there next time you guys get out though.

Getting banned for sharing pics, that doesn't seem right

I am planning a 4th of July trip in the BV area, maybe home base up by Hancock, with easy access to Chinaman as well as all of the other trails in the area if they are melted out by then.

I'm sure it was! If I didn't have kids and such a demanding job I would have been right there with you.

I was just giving you hell. I think we are all just jelly that we didn't get to go too. I am so ready for some snow-free wheeling with some REAL obstacles.

    I know

I will start coming up with a plan for the 7/4 trip I was talking about and be sure to give everyone the details.

And a few more pics from across the street, I ran Fourmile the back way into BV :p

    Two questions

    1. Where is this?

    2. Why are there purple panties hanging from your rearview mirror?

Yes, BV, at the start (BV) side of the Fourmile network. It runs parallel to the river a bit north of the Fourmile exit.

Haha, not quite, a Crown Royal bag that I hang sun glasses from.

to many to list, check the build thread
We tried to make it up and over Yankee hill today and down into Alice, wasn't happening. Snow drifts pretty good size just past the trail marker for 175.1 so we turned around and came back to the central city side. Here are some photos I got
