It was fun. 7-Mile could have used a couple more inches, it prolly has it now.
Snow was really light and fluffy up on 300, had a few drifts too.

    Hey Travis,
I realized when we got up there that that was the first trail I ran in the taco when you guided Cole an I about a year and a half ago.

Hell yeah man, that was a good day too! Stopped by the cabin afterwards and had a beer. You guys will have to come up for more of a trip.
If it took you until the top to realize it was the same trail, I can assume that the trail is way different now that they graded it after the flood. Is that true?

Edit: our trucks look a bit different now.

I actually remembered when we aired down. i'm sure any trail would seem way different with snow on it, but that little up and back hill is closed and the tippy section after it has been flattened out I think.
Yep, there have been a few mods and trails since then.

Oh, and I'd like to nominate a nickname for Brett (the elder).

I think he should be hereby and forever more known as "Tour Guide".

Dude has the best stories and descriptions of the trail from "back in my day".

If you don't have a CB when you go wheeling with Brett, you're missing out on half the experience.

Agreed, it was awesome to learn all the info about Kelly Flats when we were running it.

Oh, and had an interesting adventure today. Leo almost ended up in a small mine pit/whole of some sort, and I have a new dent in my bedside.

Took some creative winching with the snatch block to get him out.

Started by heading to Gross Reservoir. Road was really easy and there was not enough snow to make it fun. So, we headed to check out Gordon Gulch, where the aforementioned fun was had. Then went down Pennsylvania Gulch. Nothing too rough, but some interesting country I've never explored.

And another one of Leo heading up and rutted up spot on Gordon:

Here are a few pics from my recent trip to Breckenridge and surrounding areas. Had a good time taking it easy and exploring areas I usually don't get a chance to see. Just cell phone pics so nothing fancy.

Cool creek that froze and created a mini-dam but flowed over anyway. I took some video of it too, very pretty in person.
