Larimer. Pretty mild trail but should be fun bashing.

Just got home, went to the GF's to watch the Bronco game. Today wasn't bad, lots of snow, deep in spots... but only ones who had trouble were because their lockers were acting up and so they'd lose their momentum then dig.

my truck was night and day different from the last deep snow I encountered. comparing it back to the Yankee Hill trip when I just dug... and dug... this time now locked, I made it through the same kind of deep shit that halted me last time nothing more than a slight hesitation...

Don't think anyone got any... too much concentration on wheeling...

I actually brought both my cameras because my GF likes to mess around with them... but she was "in a mood" so she pretty much just stayed in the truck... lol

CBI plate rear bumper with swingaway, SPC Light Racing UCAs, ARB SS170HF Safari snorkel w/ Afrikaans centrifugal pre-cleaner, Tacoma antenna mod, TRD Supercharger w/ URD 7th inj. & URD pulleys, Anti-Dark engine bay lighting system. Having gone 250k, Aug 2016 was the time to replace the original clutch & get the driver's seat rebuilt/stuffed. Front & back Weathertech liners. Tundra front disc brake swap. Full length Rocky Mountain Rack with 40" lightbar & alternating strobe rear dust lights. I used a warm weekend in March 2022 to finally install my brand new, from old stock, 2000 4Runner driver's seat. $800 directly from the factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
It really is a HUGE difference isn't it? I deliberately got myself stuck in 4L a couple of times just to see what would happen. 1/2 to 1 tire rotation of inertia & I'm out. I've been playing around with it on the secondary streets in town in 2H. seeing how well it does on the ice where others are just out of luck. Night & day difference.

Yeah it is. I haven't done anything deliberate, other than going as slow as possible over obsticals I needed momentum and a lot of skinny pedel to get over before.

anxious for the spring to come and go :D
