Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Sorry I don't do the candy. I am not brett. I will take beer.

I withhold a lot of information about trails. You just don't know. It's not profit, it's just beer. Unless it's you count profit as my enjoyment of beer. :D

Just south of CO,,Choke cherry canyon,,taking te shortcut from my friends house. We just aired down there drive a mile through the wash and into this culvert.

Thought I might lose my door before we even got started today. The normal line was washed out and had to come in the side.

This is Z turn on the gladiator

Last serious obstacle and one of my favorites. Almost rolled here once, all the weight is on the rear passenger and front end feels so light wants to walk over. I've got a bunch of videos to sort through from today..I suffered typical major scratching and abuse on sliders, all skids including gas tank, rear bumper, front bumper, rotated my rear driveshaft on a rock a bit when I got myself turtled on same rock after this climb scratched up my paint some more at drove home at 70mph like it was nothing.

    Sunday's trip.
Left my house at 4:00am. Was home by 9:00pm. Awesome day, incredible scenery. I haven't been to Steamboat Springs in several years and it was nice to see it again.

The mudhole we've seen so much of....dry as a bone.
Pics don't do this justice at all, this is incredibly steep, the top of the hole is well above the cab. I can't imagine what it's like full of water.

Thanks to Brett and Tuck for showing me around :) Definitely worth the trip and lots more to do than what I had time for.

Just a few more pics from yesterday's adventure. Glad @BDN could make it up, and @TuckGraham could join us. Brett is now sworn to secrecy too on the location. Unfortunately, I never did see any Halloween candy though....

Kind of a weird day on Spring Creek Sunday.....

In direct contrast to last year, where we had the trail almost to ourselves, this time the place was absolutely filthy with jeeps.

I had a mess of kids with me so we had to check out the mine again

A little ways past the second obstacle, it became a parking lot. We stopped in the middle of the trail and had lunch as we weren't going anywhere.
When the reports came back from the front that it was a solid mess of jeeps (at least 30) from the end of the rock garden to where we were, we decided to bail and head back down.

We followed a spur off the trail and found a cool little playground area among the mine tailings. I'll probably bring Cole back here with his motorcycle as it seemed an ideal place for him to rip around.

No offroad trail babes this year? Sucks that the trail was such a mess.

Don't bother. Stick with OEM CVs and look into CVJ in Denver for rebuilt OEMs. For one, it's not worth paying how much those things costs, two it's pretty easy to swap a CV on the trail, not so much a diff. You definitely want that to be your weak point, and just make a point of carrying a spare.

I agree with it being a much easier fix but I haven't seen any one breaking a diff because of them. Went with a NAPA reman for now .... hopefully I don't regret it

Or, you are a loyal Toyota owner and you automatically become disgusted in the presence of these "Jeeps" on the trail...

Or maybe ALL the "Jeeps" WERE there and you aren't exaggerating, who knows?
