I would love to do that, but am getting the 2nd dose of anti-COVID juice...so i plan on being sick for a bit...and then have to wait for a dryer to be delivered on Saturday...

would be into it in the future though...just got an SR5, so would be coo lto talk to people about mods etc...

and I have never been on any social media other than forums like this, so I would not know anything going on on FB

I'll keep an eye out. While I live in Pittsburgh now, I do come back from time to time. I know I'll be back before the end of March to clean out the last of my storage unit and then at least once in April and May.

hey fellow Central Ohioans...where is the best place around us to get off roading parts; or to have modifications done to our trucks? I am talking like bigger stuff like lifts, engine stuff etc. I am not mechanically inclined - or more truthfully, I can't afford to use my truck as my learning platform and want stuff done correctly. Just looking to do some stuff down the road to get my SR5 ready for some back country camping use.

Are there any local fabricating shops that would do rock sliders or bumpers?

    Just curious

cool...I am gonna make a run out there this coming weekend. Many have suggested them!! The website is sort of clunky, so I think going in person might be a better idea

Yea I've never had much luck with the website. I usually just call them and they've always been super helpful.

Trails west is mainly into Jeeps, but theyll order Toyota parts and install if they have to.

4 Wheel Parts over on the west side is mainly Toyota guys these days from what I gather. There is also Barxbilt Fabrication who does Toyota stuff locally - bumpers, sliders, ect.

During my experience of throwing money at 4 wheel drive vehicles (Tacomas, lifted full size trucks, and Jeeps), I’ve had good luck with 4 wheel parts, and not so good luck with them. I’ll leave it at that. Ryan (the owner) at Trails West, is the guy I would go to for lift/mechanical info. Anything that you can do yourself, order it online, and install it yourself. Other than that, it’s Trails West for me

D&R motor works in Columbus offers Dobinsons lifts, they work an service alot of Toyotas. I've seen some solid work from them. Trials West and 4WP have been around awhile. Honest Speed Shop in Hillard actually got started on Lifts etc before getting into performance side.

April 25th at 3pm Ohio Tacomas and Central Ohio Tacomas is having a meet at Quaker Steak and Lube in Columbus, Ohio.

Did have a meet at 4WP for ov tune party the other weekend.

    hello everyone,

I'm in Cleveland and am planning to install an ECGS bushing in the next week or so - does anyone happen to still have any of the removal/install tools to loan? happy to cover shipping/etc.

this seemed like the most active general Ohio thread, hence why I'm posting here.

    thanks!

So, haven't been around much cause trying to avoid temptation on spending money that I should be putting towards student loans and house down payment. Today I went out to the Taco that has been sitting for 3 or 4 days and went to start it up and discovered some worthless piece of shit stole my cat(s?). Anyone got a recommendation on a shop to get this fixed/replaced? I'm struggling trying to find anything online today (Sunday) about fixing it or even finding replacement parts. I saw an old post from Flowmaster on here talking about replacements they had but I can't find anything for the 2.7L (2013) on their site at all, only stuff for the 4.0. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I’m by Easton. I’m glad I’m working from home, been too stressed/depressed to deal with it, gotta start calling places to get an estimate. I’m just worried I’m gonna pay for it to be fixed and the assholes will come back and do it again :-/
