Columbus Zoo Anyone?

    Anyone been to the Columbus Zoo?

    The wife wants to take our son next month. Dont know anything about it.

    Just heard it was supposed to be pretty good.

    As a Columbus native, It's a very nice place, but not worth the hype it gets imho. The gf says the Cinci Zoo is nicer but I've never been there.

    That said, I haven't seen the new polar exhibit(which is supposed to be amazing, to crowded when we were there so we didn't check it out) and they have opened a few new areas up as well. I just feel as if the animals are in small confined areas compared to other zoo's I've been to. Read some reviews and just see if it's your kind of place. There is also a water park there as well called Zoombezi Bay.

    I have read reviews and most say its a lot better since Jack Hannah took over a few years ago.

    She wants to go on a thursday around the first week of june. Hope its not too crowded and too hot for the animals then.
