I really like your truck and would be happy with mine that size. I have a 2012 dclb trd sport v6 the guy that does local lifts said my mpg would drop down to like 12 with a pro comp 6 in lift and 33in nitto trail tires. So do you think that sounds right or is he bs me? What mpg do you think I would get? Thanks for all the info!

 

I don't think it will drop that much. A lot.depends on how you drive it, but I think in the ball park of 15-18 would be about right assuming you don't floor it.everywhere. The op will have a better answer though since he actually has a truck

i think you will get in between 15 and 18 mpg....that's what i was averaging in oregon. i drive a straight highway to and from work in hawaii...so i think thats why my mileage has been so good. oh...and the 15 - 18 mpg that i was getting included a lot of city driving.

 

i looked, but not very hard... when you got your alcans, did you request +lbs, like +300lbs kinda like wizzard?

Yea i think I went a little heavier. It's totally up to you and exactly how you are gonna use your truck.

Ya, I was thinking about going +300 or maybe some more because I have a long bed. I plan on getting the basic fabtech kit for now, with the top coil spacer and not the coilovers. I just don't want the rear to sit too much higher than the front. I wonder if they add another leaf or use thicker leafs? I guess if need be, I could remove a leaf or add 5100s to the front for some adjustment.

 

yea the nice thing about alcan is they build the springs exactly how you want them...i think it will sit how you want it as long as you let them know. also be sure to take the "settling" of the springs into consideration when you place your order.

sup man!!! i know its been a long time!!! i actually gave the blocks to my friend. i ordered them through 4wps. pro comp makes the block, but save up and get some custom springs instead...the blocks are rough as shit and will make you vibe like crazy.

 

Ill be selling my rear 4" blocks soon, they DO ride like shit. Alcans going on after my vacation this month

the mud grapplers have been great...little wear so far too.

i ordered mine straight from alcan...they were about 600 bucks

im about to pull trigger on alcans myself im just making sure i got my ride height where i want it up front although i got me some travel issues or someshit to figure out since the LR uca's went on rides shittier up front at slow speed(5 -15mph)not sure totally whats going on yet

yea i kind of wish my springs were a few inches higher, but they haven't settled much since i got them...and i have been putting some pretty heavy shit in the bed too lol.

sorry, i ordered them through 4 wheel parts...but check out beefed taco...he makes some pretty nice blocks and his work on his other products are pretty nice too.
