Come along on Shellshock's Midwest adventures! (Resuming now!)

its my favorite road (very little traffic) when I need to get out and do a little cruising around the metro, put a few miles on the truck (with minimal wear and tear)
it's about 30 or so miles circle on i680 over the Mormon bridge and back to i80

btw, @Shellshock traffic by the Zoo can get very backed up at certain times, especially if there is heavy tractor trailer traffic, lots of construction and overpass (underneath) repairs, 4-5 lanes closes down to 2 right before all the roads split off and then the adventure begins over every damned expansion joint!!
it should be better in the later/darker hours

 

I haven’t been on 29 for quite a while. I also don’t have a boat which would have been necessary for quite a while lol

There’s one by STL July 20. Need to do one up here at some point. I’ve got a bunch of crap coming for my truck mid July.

I’ve hit traffic through Omaha a lot. Usually I’m there mid morning or mid afternoon so it hasn’t been terrible. It was better last time since some of the construction was finally done.

 

@Shellshock i have wheels and tires arriving next week. Suspension will be mid July (getting engaged in a week ((hopefully lol)) so had to wait on ordering that stuff. I have light bar and new fogs arriving next week as well. But I’ll install everything this coming week minus suspension. So if we get people together I’ll have that to work on with everyone

 

I’ve got a bunch of electrical work to be done on my truck. So much to do and so little time I also need to get some stuff for the tundra before RMOR beginning of August

Well If all of that wasn’t included then I’d be pretty disappointed

 

count me +7, i still need to confer with my uncle if he has a room for me to overnight near Sedalia MO on Friday (~4hr drive from the cornfields!) then about a 3hr drive in the morning to the far east side, now i need to find the other parts needing ordered to do one small repair/refurb
may have to ask the experts what all i need

i spent a half hour at McGeorge online and cannot seem to find the parts i want and need
... probably should be posting this in different topic thread as this is not an adventure @Shellshock possibly wishes to travel
