hm. I had the Entune app and it got annoying and I got rid of it cuz I wasn't using any of the extra apps. guess I'll have to check out what its actually supposed to be useful for again..

 

I’ll check on my end too. I know my screen has asked me already about updates twice now. Used phone to update.

I've seen that before, but I thought it just updated the entune apps. I didn't really pay much attention, its been probably 1.5 years since I played with it. If it updates the maps, I'm gonna have to get it connected again.

I also found a thing where you can use express to update the SD cards. I haven't pulled my card out yet to see if it actually works or not though.

 

No kidding! We went there last fall to the Badlands & Black Hills. Someone Google tagged the location of their house out in the middle of nowhere as one of our destinations... so we got off the grid quite a ways before we realized it was a joke & laughed but just rolled with it.

 

I'd like to get out on another adventure this year. Other than 4th of July week trip to Myrtle Beach I'm kinda restricted to short weekend trips

 

The only thing I like about driving through Nebraska is there isn't 4 hours of wall drug signs as you drive through it.

 

Most of mine are gonna be weekend trips with a few bigger ones sprinkled in

 

It’s more like 12 hours of wall drug signs starting in Minnesota lol

 

Oh right I forgot the southern end of the state was a cesspool of billboards for anyone.

By the description it starts in Sabuela & goes through Maquoketa. Do you have a map of this route?

In case you’re wondering the temp sensor on my truck goes down to at least -40.

I figured this was a safer thread to BS in than the random third gen one.

 

that temp was in 1996 too, had to make the 30 minute trek from Sioux Falls to small top secret facility that watches everyone with satellites

i would take some brutal cold over that fast melt

 

Haha if only it was some brutal cold. I work outside. I felt like all my life was brutal cold for a while this winter.

 

my Dad was stationed near Fairbanks during the Korean era and he said when the temps hit zero everybody would be running around in shorts and tshirts

 

I was definitely doing that earlier this year.
