    Has anyone found a product (weather stripping oriented) specifically designed to fill the recessions in the roof where a roof rack can be mounted? I want to fill the valleys to prevent possible moisture issues.

    You wouldn't want something that is water tight because it could end up trapping moisture and being a different problem. Just needs to be an aesthetic filler that lets water drain away.

    So yeah the OEM strips are basically that.
