Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated on this matter. I'm looking for common ground points for the inside dome lights and radio on 2012 Tacoma pre-runner w/ v6 4.0l engine and Tow Package. Since I got the truck about 5 weeks ago now, I've had to fix several things and I'm proud to say shes currently running as smooth as a Cadillac. However, the last few things that I've got to fix are these dome lights and the radio! I'm pretty confident that it has something to do with a common ground point, theres a ground not grounded securely. If anybody could point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it. The fuses are good as well as relay.

Nothing really in common between the radio and interior lights except the Short Pin in the underhood fuse box, it looks almost like a fuse but is not.

Ok I Have seen this previously and wondered what short pin meant. I actually figured it meant empty because thats what mi e is in my panel. Is that what it should be is just empty?

It's essentially just a jumper that's shaped very similar to a fuse, it should be installed under normal use.
It's primary purpose is to be removed during transport/long term storage to lower parasitic draw on the battery.
I'll grab a pic of mine later if I don't forget.

You can toss a 30A fuse in place of the short pin for testing (assuming everything else is stock - 30A is just the closest common size that feeds the three branches after it, 10 + 7.5 + 7.5)
