2021 TRD Sport Premium best of all the Generation that I have owned. No recalls, no break downs etc etc was one of the last built in Texas.
The only issue that I have which is no big deal is when I drop things between the front seat and consul is a bitch to get at from top or bottom don't matter so damn tight in there and hard place to reach . But I love my Sport and the Scoop too .

Old men always want to talk to you in the parking lot of Home Depot about their toyota that they had in 1978

I have a 21 DC TRD Sport long bed. Just replaced the steering rack at 70,000 KM. Cost me 4500$ that was the single most expensive repair I have ever had on a vehicle but I have always had Toyotas. My 2011 Sienna cost me 1300$ in repairs (aside from brakes and oil changes) in the 11 years I owned it.

My truck was side swiped in an accident last year so I am blaming my steering rack on that otherwise I would be disappointed in it.

If the accident caused your steering damage why should you pay for it when the insurance should of. just saying

How ironic, that's the same exact problem I've been experiencing, darned wheel getting in the way.

    No rubbing tires...yet!

    OTT Tuned and loving it.

Thanks everyone! With the exception of the few morons I really appreciate the feedback. Bought the 2021 TRD Sport premium. Looking forward to the upgrade!

2016 and 2017 models had most problems, like any new gen of any manufacturer. They did update some parts, which is why later years don't have same issues

That's weird. I purchased my 2021 brand new. It's lifted, tuned and has a Sony headunit. After 52k miles I haven't started running into issues. Maybe soon?

Seems like a lot do eventually, but probably has something to do with 'who' did the work etc.
I'm knocking wood as mine has been great so far.

I can't get over all the people w/ 3 year old trucks bragging about them being problem free. its a 3 year old truck w/ what, 15k miles on it because apparently only like 5 people here drive more than 10 miles a day. yeah its not supposed to have any fucking problems, its 3 years old...

It’s my daily driver and going to work is about 9 miles round trip.

I was at dealership yesterday pricing upgraded TRD shocks and also scheduled my next appointment.

No issues cause I do not let the dealers touch my truck. I have been taking all my trucks to the same village mechanic for over 25 years and they treat them like their own and not in for the money like some do. just saying.

That seems very unusual to me. Components, maybe. But the whole system? Wow.
