Is anyone running the BFG KO2 who has previously had the KO's? I would only be interested in a C-rated tire since I spent the vast majority of my time on pavement. I found some of the original KO's in the system, which I have always liked. Please let me know your opinions of the KO2 on the road, snow, ice and rain compared to the KO's.

The only C-rated KO2 is the 30.5x15. There are a few D-rated but most are E-rated.

And that C-rated 30.5x15 is not very different in weight from a comparatively sized E-rated 225/75R16. In general it appears most of the KO2 tires weigh the same as the same sized KO tires even if the load rating went up.

I've run both KO and KO2, though on different trucks and not much time on the KO2 so far. So I don't think I can comment much on them, besides I like my KO2 so far. But I'd probably like most tires so far given how little time I have on them.

From what others have said snow and ice performance for KO2 is significantly improved compared to the KO. And seems to be living up to its claim for less chunking on gravel roads.

    265/70/17 KO2 are also C rated.
Tempted to try but just purchased my BFG KO 265/70/17C.
Which rides great for a daily.
