    Can someone clarify this??
Does a '19 Off Road base pkg have a compass in the mirror? OM says the compass* (if equipped) can be turned on or off by pressing "auto" button on mirror for 3 seconds. The mirror has 2 indicators, left one for auto dimmers, right one for (?) I know other trim packages have the "homelink" option, but OM clearly shows base mirror? Even brochure unclear? Not earth-shattering event, just curious. :)

I have a 2019 and it does not have the compass, wish it did. The 2018s came with a compass.

I have the 18 OR with premium and tech package. Manual indicates there are two types of mirrors.

I have type A. There is only one button. It is labeled "Auto" with a LED indicator flanking it on either side.

Type B is for the Homelink mirror only available on the Limited trim. It has lots of buttons of which I have zero interest. The compass on/off button is on the extreme right according to the manual.

I know I don't. Drove off of the lot with my Silver Taco without it in the mirror. Had the HomeLink thingy, though it would have been nice if the compass was originally included. At least the function is incorporated in the center display.

It’s not a real compass, it just tells you in which basic cardinal position you are pointing.

My 19 off-road with premium and tech package doesn't have the compass in the mirror, but does have Homelink.

There is a compass on both the nav screen and the gauge cluster screen.
