Compatibility question: need headrest for my '99

My headrests are falling apart and I'm trying to replace them on the cheap. Over on ebay (click the link to see the listing) there are headrests that say they fit 00-03. Did they change the 1st gen headrests after '99? Any thoughts on whether these will fit? Or other ideas on where to get headrests?

only thing I can think of is the color pattern on the material "might" be a little different.

the only think to check with seller (or maybe the pictures) where are the notches for the height adjustments? sometime they swap sides and if its wrong you wont be able to lock it at the height you want it.

 

Thanks keakar, I appreciate it. I don't care at all about color or fabric type. Just whether they fit! Just wondering whether anyone knows if the notches changed after '99.

 

No idea, but you could get your current ones reupholstered, probably would be inexpensive

 

lemme ask this? is it just the fabric or the foam that's bad? because the fabric snaps on and off with a slot and groove that clips together so you can put "any" headrest cover from a taco or 4runner (front or rear seats) on your headrests if the foam is still good because they are all the same except as you noted the notches on the metal slides change for some

 

I have the same year as yours and had my seats re upholstered and the foam is what is bad, super common in these trucks
