I have a 1997 taco 3.4 and have complete power loss to my instrument cluster & clutch start cancel button. Also engine dies when the light are turned on, I thought it was the alternator so I replaced it and that wasn't the problem. Any ideas to help would be appreciated

I would look for a short in the light that makes the engine die.

Could be bad fuse under hood? Might go to technical chat thread and ask also. Kinda sounds like a short somewhere. Bamatoy might be the man to ask. He has lots of experience and good advice for sure.
