im getting the fox set up here, im super stoked! but i could use some help choosing my tire and wheel size...not sure what wheels i want yet but i do want to stay at 17" most likely unless convinced otherwise,(not sure about the width i need)...I want a very "FUNCTIONAL" set up with a nice meaty tire without having to use spacers or any other bs...Im going to use the wrangler duratracs or the bfg ats. can anybody shoot me some advice or would i need to provide more info regarding my driving to further your opinions...? I have the 2011 DCLB trd sport if it matters.

dollabill I am getting it too!! I currently run 17" XD Revolvers and 265x70x17 BFG MT with my current spacer lift. I feel that this is the most practical set up for my needs as I use it for a daily driver but want to go off-roading when I feel the urge. The cool thing about the Revolvers (or many aftermarket wheels) is that you can get negative offset (mine are -12 I believe) which allows the wheels to stick out further giving the truck a more broad stance.

If your tuck will never see any trails or desert, there's not much point in getting a re-buildable race shock........unless you have the money! The 5100 s and eibachs you have are more than enough to handle what you've got!

You can be reallyyyyyyyyyyy cheap and get spacers with blocks if your truck is on road 99.85% for $100 bucks and voilà! :bananadance:

Yes those are the correct specs! They do stick out about an inch from the fender flare but I have been going back and forth on whether or not I want to get some spacers...Again the picture above shows my Rough Country 2.5" spacer lift. Can't wait to install this fox set up that is coming!!

Its one or two things a.) you suck at searching b.) fox sales rep doesn't know what they're talking about :D

    http://www.foxracingshox.com/produc...ke=Toyota&model=Tacoma&ref=willitfit#fitguide

Just kidding, they do make it for 05-up Prerunner/4WD without the remote-reservoir, and these are original anodized blue color before they switch it to blaack so that's probably why he said they don't make it anymore. Part number for these shocks is 883-02-025.

Hey Huy, you have any extra sets left/getting any soon? Might be hitting Death Valley next month

And can someone explain the Dif drop that the Toytec requires for 4x4s? Does this Fox setup need/include it?

The diff drop doesn't actually drop the front differential for any significant gain. You're better off without it.

If I wasn't already lifted I'd jump on the fox set. Bump for a good deal!

Huy now you have me thinking.....you say it fits the prerunner/4x4. Mine is TRD SR5....am I going to have issues? I just typed in the TRD option in the above link and it shows the same part number. I would hate to tear down my truck and they not fit. Can you please verify?

Huy, also the website says they come pre adjusted but I would want to adjust it as high as safely possible...I assume there is a tool for adjusting these? Does the kit come with a tool or do I need to purchase that separate?
