Great thread!!! When getting ready for doing some of my first maintenance, didn't have to keep making trips for tools or guess on the sizes. Time saver right here.

Also, you need and 8mm for the bolts that hold the tail lights in, not just the running boards

    Nice idea Crom.
    My 2 cents.
A small roll of electrical wire. To make electrical connections. Maybe electrical pliers.
A small roll of uncoated wire or a metal hanger. To hang exhaust, etc.
Medium size channel locks. You'd be surprised what these things can hold in place.
    Non-tool related:
A tree saver- to save trees and not get land owners pissed at you winching out.
Water and snack bars- to keep you going.
Cell phone with a in-cab charger, in case you can't get yourself out.

Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.
This thread is very informative, indeed. I would just like throw my $0.02 in here, which by the way is just a small contribution.
This is if you don't have one of these, I highly recommend that you get one of these "Spark Plug Torque Ratchets" from Koken. If you can't get one specifically from Koken then I recommend that you do get a small Torque ratchet specifically for spark plugs.

This does not surprise me one bit, my bolts are 8mm, seems nothing on my truck is as it's supposed to be

The blower motor screws are actually 5.5 mm - the only .5 mm metric socket I've ever seen . 7/32 will work though.

That's funny. I have the 5.5mm socket and I tried it. Maybe I wasn't patient enough... Thanks OP updated.

I carry an extensive tool kit. When things go south, I'm glad that I always have cigars in the glove box and a small bottle of Jim Beam in my recovery gear bin. The bin is buried way in the back of the bed under the sleeping platform. If the whiskey was closer at hand, it might not be there in my time of need.

Thanks for starting this thread Crom! One of these days I'll use it to make a checklist. I'm sure there are a few things on the list that I don't carry. I'm also sure I carry a hundred pounds of tools not on the list.

Under 8mm and 11mm, you may want to add worm drive and/or T-bolt hose clamps as a reminder for those of us that replaced the oem hose clamps.

After installing the new OEM Toyota from the dealership upper high side hose, the bottom bolt is, yes, amazingly 13/32! It was even stamped on the OEM factor hose I removed. I bought this truck brand new, saw it unloaded off the car carrier, that is what it came with, lol! It's funny because I tried the usual 10mm, didn't fit, then 11mm, didn't fit, the 13mm, didn't fit it was too big. So tried 12mm, it 'fit' but was really loose. I tried 15/32 and it fit pretty good but not perfect. Then I had a "heres your sign" moment and read the white writing on the OEM hose. It said 13/32, lol! Duh!

Don't know if this has been added or not but I believe (correct me if I am wrong) you use a 73mm wrench for oil filter removal.
