    Hey everyone! really glad to be part of the community. I know i'm a late bloomer, i've always wanted a pick up truck ever since i was a little kid. I dont know much about these trucks but one has to start sometime i guess. Nothing alot thread reading won't help.
    Been saving up to find one that was well taken care of, (most had rusting, horrible interior etc) but after months of searching, i finally found my first truck! picked it up August 2020. It's a 96 with a humble 301k miles and running strong, shifting smooth and a real nice interior, i was tired of looking and was pretty excited to drive off with it so i bought it.
    Interior is a 9/10 with A.C which is pretty important for anyone i think. California truck so no rusting. 4x4 works great. bought it with the leveling kit and wheels and tires. So far i added the roof lightbar, back up camera, and the snugtop. My plan is to paint it a flat satin black or a flat gunmetal and add a winch front bumper, and couple more lights and keep it simple for a daily.20210218_122601.jpg 20210224_180850.jpg 20210226_083618.jpg

    I'm leaning towards Grey also. I'm doing all the bodywork myself. I should be posting pictures along the way.
    No dents so it's no Daisy at all

    Definitely going with a nice grey with a hint of purple. Now it's just simply finding the right color. And I just ordered the 300k mile club sticker.

    Edit:
    Looks like I'm missing some sort of small trims between the bumper and grill. There small horizontal trim pieces right below the headlamps. Are those hard to find? What are they called?
    And are there aftermarket side mirrors that fit well? Kinda want something bigger than stock.
