I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but basically I finally managed to find this in order to finish redoing my whole harness. I got about 10 wires or so that I'm trying to figure out that aren't going anywhere. What's driving me nuts though is that the official FSM on this fails to mention some of the pins, what gives?

    https://www.customtacos.com/tech.ol.../06toyrm/06toypdf/06rmsrc/rm2006ta/006006.pdf

If you look at that, I can't find anywhere on the net what E7-25 or E7-31 do?

I also downloaded a full electrical section for 2AZ-FE which is more complete. Main reason is the ECU diagrams and wires seem to match the same as the 2TR-FE manual and it doesn't seem like Toyota changed much. I can't find a single reference to those pins on all 200 or so pages of that manual either.

I'm not even as curious on what those two wires do as much as I'm curious why it's impossible to find this information?

    Yep.
The best option is to hop on TIS and purchase a temp pass. I have used it a couple times, downloading everything I look at - you should too. It is an amazing tool, especially with the electrical side of the house.

I'll check the files on my home computer after work, if we're lucky I may have the applicable files already downloaded.

Edit - the FSM you linked isn't vin specific, more a general guideline. TIS is VIN specific

Thanks for that info, I didn't know they have vin specific stuff. Maybe that explains why it's not 100% of the pins.
