Complete Third Gen Tacoma Front Bumper Thread

Do your BSM & Park assist (rear cross traffic alert) work?
One of these guys thinks there are parts mounted in the bumper itself but I'm not sure about that.


Those look kind of like the older gen taco All-pro/Trail gear bumpers.

 

Yes there are sensors in plastic corners of the bumper for bsm. The stock bsm cable is not long enough to reach the remount spot..The park assist works just like stock.
And that's a VW king pin design not link pin du...... yes I had that all pro bumper on my 05 turbo tacoma and ya it does resemble the old school. The truck was at cali raised for an off the shelf bumper they said they had in stock. My truck was still there 2 weeks later with no bumper built. They were using it for a mock up truck. I go nothing for helping those guys out. I hate manufacturers that say they have the part you want and then jerk you off.. So I rescued it . Took it back to my fab shop and advised them to no longer farm out work on my truck to save time. Build was supposed to take 2 weeks .. It took 6 weeks to complete. But life goes on... next is 97 PPI retro wrap

 

We've just finished our first full bumper prototoype. With the second scheduled for the start of December, we're looking to have this in production for the start of 2019:

Do you know of any members on here that have either your front or rear bumpers (or both) that would be willing to do a detailed write up and review in this thread for, let's see, some free swag?

 

Yupp, our powdercoaters stepped up and offered us a part of their race car shop to continue development. We’ll be in there until we can get a permanent home setup in the spring.

 

That's awesome. I'm glad you guys found a temporary solution.

 

Why is that necessary? We've been a vendor on this forum for almost 4 years now. Plenty of members have our products. We've had a 3rd gen bumper available for over a year now and we've requested the OP add our product to the "complete" list several times with no response. I don't see why we have to provide free swag to people that don't have the ability to edit the original post.

 

Jeez dude. Calm down. I was just making a suggestion. If it means that much to you, why don't you post them on here yourself? ARC1 Industries just did.

 

Sorry...there's far less aggression in my real feelings about. Just didn't spend enough time to think about the best way to write it. Nonetheless, we've posted our stuff around in other threads, but this one comes up a lot. Any photos/info posted anywhere else but the first post just gets buried. Most people aren't going to read 14 pages to find info about our bumper. They look at the first post, compare the bumpers and choose the one they like the looks of the best.

 

Do you guys have a tube style bumper coming?

Yea, it was supposed to be ready for SEMA, but we missed the deadline. Should be finishing it up soon.

Yup, considering there are vendors actually making and shipping product that aren't on the list while one that is out of business is still on the list.

 

Our full front bumpers arent on the OP either, just out low-pro's. Yet they've been available since before our Low-Pro, and a lot of other options on the list

 

@Mobtown Offroad isnt on the list, and might as well remove Pelfreybilt.....
