I seen that thread and would jump on a deal like that in a heart beat and I don't even want to change the color! I would of thought in California the price would be tripple that.

When I first took my truck to the shop, the guy told me he could buff n wax it....and it would make the red look alot better. But I wouldnt know how it could have looked since I ended up getting rid of the red...

My brother took his F-150 to the same guy and he ended up buffn and waxing the paint an it looked good. But his truck is an 08....mines an 04...so his paint wasnt as jacked up as mine.

I bought it used from (dealer) and who ever owned it before me ( 1 owner ) must of use it for a work truck and wasn't piticular about how he loaded the trk or where they parked, the dealer did a shit job on touching up the scratches, I took it to a paintless dent removal and had numerous dings removed, there is a little damage on the upper part of the tail gate, not that noticeable ( closeing it too hard ) I supose. Also where it had been touched up some of the touch up is coming off.

Would I buy a black vehicle again yes.
