I was just wondering if anyone has any complaints with the strength of the new bed material? Has anyone actually had a bed crack or break?

I've moved some pretty big stuff with my truck and been kinda brutal to it. Actually used my tailgate as a workbench every so often...it handles it great. One time I caught a friend using the bed to chop firewood and it left some pretty deep scars in the bed.

A 2010 Tacoma has 500 lbs. less carrying capacity than my 2001.
One of the many reasons I stayed with my 2001.

I bet that is because the truck is bigger than before, but with the same suspension (thus the weak rear spring problem starting in '05)?

The composite bed has been great for my two trucks with it, so far!
